2 CE Credits - $40
Instructor: Mimi Lind, LCSW
Course Description
This live, interactive course will provide practice, guidance and feedback on clinical interventions to treat both victim/survivors and perpetrators of intimate partner violence. Experience will be gained from analyzing and discussing case examples as well as engaging in small group role-plays, while covering a wide variety of topics.
A focus on countertransference, framing difficult conversations to avoid shame, safety and culturally appropriate interventions will help clinicians be better professionals by providing a truly nonbiased, safe space for clients. Additionally, this course will help participants to develop trauma informed interventions while deepening their understanding of themselves, the perpetrator and the survivor.
